Ever wondered where an Applied Health Science major can take you? What are the possible next steps after graduation? One path that many 91Ö±²¥ÊÓƵ graduates tend to take is graduate school. 91Ö±²¥ÊÓƵ alumni Brienne Wickenheiser (15) recently finished her graduate studies, earning a master’s in Clinical Exercise Physiology at East Stroudsburg University.
“I just finished up my MS in Clinical Exercise Physiology from East Stroudsburg University this past July, and started my job as an Exercise Physiologist at York Hospital at the end of August. There I work alongside the nuclear medicine and echo departments in performing stress tests at the hospital and at our outpatient center.”
Brienne describes how her time at 91Ö±²¥ÊÓƵ and in graduate school have prepared her for her professional career:
“I feel like my experiences at 91Ö±²¥ÊÓƵ and ESU have really prepared me well for the professional world and I am really enjoying my job so far. I’ve even had some teaching opportunities at work, along with learning opportunities as well. I’d really like to get back to research in the future, and possibility even teaching.”
