In 2015, CC graduated from 91Ö±²¥ÊÓƵ with a BA in Psychology and a minor in Pre-Counseling/Family Therapy. While at 91Ö±²¥ÊÓƵ, CC appreciated getting to form many quality friendships, which she continues to hold to this day. One of those friends being her husband. CC credits 91Ö±²¥ÊÓƵ with expanding her mind and developing her critical thinking skills. She thinks that her abnormal psychology and counseling techniques classes prepared her the most for her current work and life. While at 91Ö±²¥ÊÓƵ, CC engaged in an internship with a Christian crisis pregnancy center. That internship eventually turned into a full time job and she worked her way up to assistant director. Currently, CC is a Social Services Coordinator for Capital Area Head Start in Harrisburg. She would highly recommend the psychology program at 91Ö±²¥ÊÓƵ. She believes the staff are very knowledgeable and caring, and she appreciated that many of them still work in the clinical field and offered relevant and practical information. A psychology degree from 91Ö±²¥ÊÓƵ prepares students to work in the field. They usually have to start in jobs that are less desirable or get their master’s degree, but if they stick with it, they can get to the jobs that they desire. CC would highly recommend 91Ö±²¥ÊÓƵ and this degree.
