Come join Human Rights Awareness and Prayer Ministries for a prayer night about the Sahel Region (see below for information about the Sahel Region) on October 4th at 3:00pm in the Hostetter Basement! We will pray for those in that region and the unrest happening, with our 91直播视频 prayer community.

The Sahel Region is a region spanning the area from Senegal to Eritrea, situated between the Sahara to the north and the African tropics to the south. The Sahel region has long faced severe, complex security and humanitarian crises.鈥疭ince鈥痝aining鈥痠ndependence in the 1960s, many countries in the Sahel have experienced鈥痸iolent extremism due to鈥痶he鈥痗onfluence of鈥痺eak and illegitimate governance,鈥痚conomic decline, and鈥痶he worsening effects of鈥痗limate change.鈥疺iolence, conflict, and crime鈥痟ave surged over the鈥痩ast decade,鈥痶ranscending鈥痭ational borders鈥痑nd posing鈥痵ignificant challenges to countries both in and outside the region.
